I'm sorry its been so long since I've updated! I'm now a hypocrite! I'm going to try to go back on my calendar and remember the things we've done in the last couple of weeks and give a good update... Lets see:
The weekend of May 22nd Cori and I took a road trip with Uncle Stewart (my brother) and Dylan and Laura. We left after work and headed to Tyler TX to meet up with Aunt Bridget (my SIL) at her parents house! They kinda live in the woods and it's so peaceful there. Cori and I enjoy going there to relax! We walked down to the lake and played at the park while the dogs took a dip! It was fun! We tried our luck with Tie-Dye which was a lot of fun, but unsuccessful! They looked awesome when we took the rubber bands off, but when we washed them, everything bled together...we were very disappointed! We vowed to try again! Stewart and Dylan took Laura and I fishing Saturday night! that was TONS of fun! I haven't been fishing in a long time. I caught two tiny fish. Laura totally kicked fish butt! She caught about 5-6 fish. We threw them all back though.

Next: My childhood friend Ashley came into town from the Navy/Jacksonville FL! She also brought along her husband and her new tiny little baby girl, Sydney! I was soo excited to see them. Although we only got a short visit it was fun! We met at the mall and let Cori play in the indoor playground while I help Sydney (which made my baby fever way worse!!) and caught up with Chet & Ash. We also took baby Syd to get her ears pierced. She cried a lil' more than Cori did, but she looks sooooo adorable and girly when it was over! I also booked plane tickets for Cori and I to go to FL in September to visit them. We will have more time to catch up!! So excited and nervous at the same time for Cori's first plane ride! Its a 2 hour flight and I didn't book her her own seat...so it should be interesting! I can't belive we didn't take any pictures together! ASH, we need a pic of us and the girls!
Memorial Day Weekend: This summer I decided that every other weekend I am going to take Cori someplace fun for kids. I want to do this so she can have a fun summer and have pictures and maybe memories of a great childhood when she is older! We started off our summer by going to the Houston Children's Museum. She had TOO much fun! They have a whole floor dedicated to toddlers so it was perfect. She ran around free as a bird climbing on anything she could, touching everything and laughing the whole time! All of it was fun beside one horrible little girl that kept hitting Cori. We do not hit at our house and I was floored that this little girl (an older girl, probably 4 in a toddler room......) would come from accross the room just to hit Cori. I gave my fair share of glares to the mother of the child that didn't do anything about this! I finally had it when the little girl, "CASSIDY" pushed Cori off of a stool that she was sitting on. I grabbed Cori up and took her to the other side of the room, meantime saying "We will not play near kids that do not know how to behave and be nice....loud enough for the clueless mother to hear, and still not do anything" I as MAAAD - we didn't stay much longer!
Last Weekend: was pretty uneventful! We just hung out at home Saturday in the pool, soaking up some yummy sun! It was HOOTT though! I'm so thankful for our pool to cool off in! Cori has a blast too! Sunday we went to the Astros game! I got on the big screen twice!! The first time I was trying to embarrass my husband by doing the chicken dance...yep, the camera found me in my HOT PINK Astro's t-shirt! Second, we got on the kiss cam. They find random couples sitting next to each other and you are supposed to kiss when you see yourself! Yep, on there again! I totally forgot that these tickets were given to my husband by his job and sure enough, Monday morning some of his co-workers said they saw us on the screen!! He was embarrassed - oops!

I'm on season 3 of Lost - so far I really like it but I still have a long way to go to finish the series!
I have lost 22lbs since Jan, but I can't seem to lose anymore - I have been stuck (or maintained) here for about a month or so..I want to lose about 20 more but I don't see that happening anytime soon since I am now off birthcontrol (News Flash) and we are not preventing pregnancy anymore! The last time we decided to do this I got pregnant with Cori the 1st month...hopefully I'm as fertile this go around too! I'm ready for #2!!!! Being around Sydney and my best friend Alexis who is a little over 10 weeks pregnant is making me crazy with baby fever....really I feel like a nutcase! I see cute babies at the grocery store and it takes all I have not to go up and try to hold it, or kiss it! We'll see how it goes!
I guess that's all I have, I figured after 2 1/2 weeks I would have more! Oh, this weekend I plan to take Cori to Old McDonalds Farm. A place nearby that is a HUGE petting zoo that has a train and a park to play at too! I'll post pictures of that next week!
